On May 18, 2010 Institute of Physics of Advanced Materials celebrated its anniversary – 15 years from the date of establishment. A number of leading specialists from Russian universities and representatives of foreign companies came to congratulate the head of the Institute Ruslan Valiev and his team with this date. On May 18-20, 2010, in honor of the anniversary, IPAM organized the International conference on bulk nanomaterials: new ideas for innovations”. Over 100 people participated in it. The Poster session for young scientists and the Meeting on organization of a Scientific-technical Сenter of the Republic of Bashkortostan “Nanostructured materials and coatings” were organized within the frames of the conference.
